The event, hosted by Egypt, will be from January 13 through 31, 2021. This marks the fourth consecutive men’s handball world championships with Molten supplying the official ball. The custom official ball and replica models will be available for purchase in select markets starting in October 2020. The new X5000 EGYPT 2021 Edition handball was developed based on the X5000 Handball, which is the official ball for international competitions held by the International Handball Federation (IHF). The special edition ball features a custom design using the flag colors of the host country and hieroglyphs symbolizing the history of the Egyptian pharaonic era. X5000 Egypt 2021 Edition handball was developed based on the X5000 and features the flag colors of the host country Egypt. The hieroglyphs are laid out on the surface of the ball, symbolizing the history of Egypt. The hope is that people will come in touch with the deep history of the host country.
X5000 Handball features a premium cover material that improves ball control. Its soft foam panel construction provides a softer feel and allows for a better grip on the ball.
